Pack 53 is excited to host an event with Pack 45. They are bringing their Water Rocket Launchers to the Amphitheater Field at Radburn B Park, behind Radburn Elementary.
We will begin at 7:00pm on Wednesday May 28th, and will continue until sundown.
Each boy will get to fire his rocket at least twice. You will be amazed by how far some of them will travel. All the water gets shot out of the rocket on the way up, so there will only be empty plastic soda bottles falling to earth. The only hazard is getting wet at the launch pad.
Some notes:
- There can be no vehicles driven onto the field. All parking must be on the street.
- It is about a hundred yard walk to the launch point. Bring a two wheeler to carry anything heavy.
- Each parent should also bring a jug of water (tap water is fine) as fuel for the launcher.
- It could be a warm evening, so bring something cold for you and your son to drink.
A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
Do your best,
Marshall Chandler & Joe Schkolnick of Pack 45
